Who are we?
Our name is CAPE, which stands for 'Community Action Project for the Elderly', our aim is to promote the welfare of the elderly by providing an effective home support service, to those who may experience difficulty with routine domestic tasks.
CAPE has been helping the community for over twenty years, as a charity that employs a numerous amount of reputable home helps, as well as being supported by a valuable team of volunteers. All of our team are working towards one key goal, to relieve you of those routine duties that require a lot of time and energy, allowing you to enjoy more freedom and renewed independence.

Our home helps are able to carry out a number of duties at a reasonable cost, to a highly professional standard, within the Southend Borough area.
We cover all aspects of HOUSEWORK, LAUNDRY AND SHOPPING, together with tailor-made individual services. The number of days or hours you require from our home helps is flexible and we will help you assess this based upon your personal circumstances.
